Carrot - Beet - Cucumber Juice
3 carrots
1/2 beet root
1 cucumber
small handful parsley (optional)
Wash vegetables. Cut into sizes that will fit through your juicer and juice.
This juice cleanse recipe is a great over-all tonic. The carrots provide beta-carotene and vitamins which are anti-oxidants. The anti-oxidants help against free radical, cancer causing cells. Beet root is especially good for liver and gall bladder health. Cucumbers help to reduce swelling and strengthen connective tissue. Parsley is a diuretic, good for digestion, and can help prevent bad breath.
